Bengaluru: CLP leader and former CM Siddaramaiah looks to be facing an uphill task of trying various strategies and meetings to convince and clear all the confusions that the rebel Congress leaders have about the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government in the state.
Expressing his distress, on Friday, July 5, Siddaramaiah said that Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi was uncompromising and it is impossible to convince him.
“We tried everything possible. Everyone has their own limits and we too have a saturation point. We crossed that point when trying to convince Ramesh,” he said.
Regarding MLA Anand Singh, he said that sources informed him that the MLA resigned because of the allegations faced by the state coalition government with regard to the Jindal Steel land deal case.
“I don’t believe that. When he met me, I repeatedly asked him to inform me if he has any issues and I told him that we can discuss and sort it out,” he added.
Regarding MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi’s various statements, the former CM said that he would not believe him, but would only believe Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar.
“Any decision taken by Speaker Ramesh Kumar will be considered final,” said Siddaramaiah.
