Bengaluru: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is investigating the IMA scam, raided the residences of senior IPS officer Hemant Nimbalkar and Ajay Hilori.

This comes as a big shock for the Karnataka police department which is facing such a credibility issue for the first time.

CBI is likely to make a statement in this regard late in the evening.

Sources confirmed the raids. Both Nimbalkar and Hilori are facing charges of corruption in the IMA scam
