Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the multi-crore IMA Group scam arrested a BDA executive engineer, who allegedly blackmailed the company founder Mansoor Khan for Rs 4 crores.

The arrested officer is identified as P D Kumar. He was arrested from his flat in Jayanagar Fifth Phase.

Kumar is facing the accusation that he extorted Rs 4 crores from Khan. In his video message to the police, Khan had alleged that Kumar was blackmailing him.

The police informed that Kumar was arrested after collecting evidence against him.
