Bengaluru: With the idea of opening its doors to the general public especially to school students, to create interest among them in science and research, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is holding an ‘Open Day’ on Saturday, March 23.

According to the IISc authorities, the ‘Open Day’ will start at 9 AM and continue till 5 PM.

“Various experiments and demos will be organised as part of the event to help students understand the science. Quiz programme, lectur series will also be the part of the event,” informed the authorities.

“General public will be allowed to visit all the departments, and labs. Several prototypes developed by the IISc will be exhibited in the Open Day,” they added.
