Bengaluru: Principal Secretary of the Education Department S. Selvakumar informed that students in second PUC are likely to prepare for JEE and NEET entrance exams alongside their academics from the start of this academic year.
He said that this will be done as the Education Department plans to implement the “Chief Minister Vidhyarthi Maargadarshini” programme announced in the budget and provide online coaching.
Selvakumar met with PU Director R. Ramachandran and other authorities for the first time on Saturday June 4.
According to sources, Selvakumar informed that they are yet to decide whether to build their curriculum and conduct coaching in-house or collaborate with institutions.
