Bengaluru: BJP leader KS Eshwarappa has stated that if former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda had 28 children, then he would have fielded each one of them from all the Lok Sabha constituencies in the state and would not have provided an opportunity to the party cadres.

This statement comes amidst criticism against Gowda family for fielding two of his grandchildren from Hassan and Mandya Lok Sabha constituencies.

Eshwarappa continued his tirade and alleged that there is no space for democracy inside the JDS party. “Gowda family has no respect for the democracy,” he said.

Referring to former CM Siddaramaiah’s statement against tilak, Eshwarappa alleged that Siddaramaiah is anti -Hindu and he has a cruel personality inside him. “All these make him give such statements,” he said.
