Bengaluru: “I am surprised the way chief minister Siddaramaiah is behaving with regard to the Lokayukta Y Bhaskar Rao case” said 97-year-old Veteran freedom fighter HS Doreswamy on Wednesday July 15.

During a protest rally held here at Maurya Circle near Majestic Doreswamy said that Y Bhaskar Rao is nothing but a ‘man with a dead soul’ and the ‘government is acting strange’ by not taking an action on him. We demand that Rao be removed immediately, he added.

Doreswamy urged for a peaceful protest, however they were arrested near Maharani College and immediately let off. Justice Rao remained conspicuous with his absence and is said to have gone on three-day leave.

Former legislator AT Ramaswamy along with the members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike and various other organizations were present at the rally.
