Bengaluru: Barely less than a week after a gang rape of a girl, a double murder incident has shocked the city.

Two home alone couple staying in a farmhouse was found murdered at Nagawala under the Ilavala police station limits. The incident is reported from Mysuru-Hunsur main road.

The victims are identified as Irattanna (80) and his wife Shivamma (75). Both were murdered using lethal weapons.

The incident came to light when a few neighbours visited their house on Tuesday noon. The murdered couple has four daughters and one son.

Senior police officers from Mysuru rushed to the spot.
