Bengaluru: A teenager pedestrian died after a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) garbage truck hit her in front of the Heball Police Station on Monday March 21.

The deceased 14-year-old has been identified as Akshaya. She was crossing the road when the incident occurred.

Following the incident public protested as a mark of outrage. They alleged the negligent and rash driving being the reason for such deaths.

BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta visited the spot. The Police are investigating the case.
