Bengaluru: The district tops the list of active cases of Covid in the whole country as the number has shot up to 1,49,624 with the detection of 16,662 new cases on Friday April 23. Pune has the second highest active cases of coronavirus followed by Delhi and Mumbai.

Among the cases reported in Karnataka, almost 70% of them are from Bengaluru.

As the second wave of coronavirus is rapidly increasing in India, expert’s advice that the best way to avoid further spread of the infection is to be at home. According to reports collected till Friday, 3.46 lac new cases were recorded throughout the country. More than 2,000 people lost their lives on Friday.
