Bengaluru: Health commissioner Pankaj Kumar Pandey’s driver has tested positive for Covid 19. Following this development, the office of the health commissioner was sealed down. Swab samples of 25 officials including commissioner has been collected and sent for testing. The results are likely come by today afternoon.

Pandey is Karnataka government’s strategist against Covid 19. Pandey is known as one of the best officers in the state and is leading from the front in state’s response against the Covid 19.

According to the sources, the swab sample test results of several senior officials of the state government expected today. Samples are collected on a routine basis to ensure that the state bureaucrat will be safe from this infectious disease.
