Bengaluru: In a tragic accident, a man was crushed to death after a speeding train ran over him while he was crossing the tracks at the Yeshwanthpura Railway junction on Sunday morning.

The deceased is identified as Huchchaiah (45). He was serving as a head constable attached to Rajajinagar police station.

Yeshwanthapura police have registered a case and are investigating further.

It is yet to ascertain whether the incident was a suicide attempt or an accident, police sources said.
