HDK puts brake to expenditures causing loss to state exchequer

Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy initiated many steps to stop the expenditures causing loss to the exchequer and improve the financial status in the state.

The CM put a brake on the purchase of new cars, unnecessary expenses in the administration etc. He ordered the officials to review the proposals for new car purchase for government departments, offices, and institutions before taking a decision. He also suggested decreasing the unnecessary expenses at the administration-level.

The Chief Minister said there should not be any unnecessary renovations of government offices and official residences. He also informed that he would cut down on traveling in special flights as much as possible.
