HDK agrees to change G T Devegowda’s portfolio

Bengaluru: After disappointment expressed by MLA G T Devegowda regarding his Higher Education ministry and considering the criticism in the media, it is found that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is finally thinking of changing his portfolio.

According to the sources, during his meeting with the CM, GTD had requested that he studied only Class 8, so he didn’t want the higher education ministry, but any other portfolio and had asked for excise or the cooperative ministry, the report said.

Regarding the distribution of higher education portfolio to G T Devegowda, many trolled the government and GTD. Many mocked the move but the CM and Congress leaders strongly defended the decision.

But, GTD himself expressed unhappiness regarding the ministry. Now the CM is thinking of assigning Cooperative ministry to him, which is with Bandeppa Kashempur at present, said the report.
