Bengaluru: In connection with HDFC Life Insurance multi-crore scam, police have arrested main accused Vishalakshi Bhat’s husband Srikanth Hegde.
Shrikanth has been arrested for his involvement in the scam. He had helped his wife and had opened an account in his name.
Vishalakshi used to transfer cheated money into Srikanth’s new account.

He was working as engineer at Titan Industrial.

He has been sent to judicial custody till May 24.

It may be recalled that Vishalakshi Bhat hailing from Uttara Kannada district, had allegedly cheated film stars, businessmen and retired police officers to the tune of Rs 40 crore. She was arrested and currently lodged in the Parappana Agrahara central prison.
