Bengaluru: The High Court on Wednesday advised the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) to take all decisions related to question papers in the beginning of the academic year.

Justice S. Sujatha made these observations while dismissing petitions filed by 34 students, who had questioned the decision taken by the KSEEB in January this year to discard the existing question paper-cum-answer script format for SSLC examination from this year and to have question papers and answer scripts separately.

The petitioners had complained that changes in the format made during the end of the academic year would affect students. The government had clarified that there was no change in the question paper format, but the question paper would be supplied separately unlike previous years.
