Bengaluru: The Janata Dal (S) state President H Vishwanath has resigned from his post.

The senior JD(S) leader submitted his resignation papers to the party supremo HD Devegowda.

Vishwanath’s resignation comes a few hours before the JD (S) legislators’ meet which is scheduled today evening.

He resigned owing moral responsibility to the party’s defeat in the recently held Lok Sabha election.
