Bengaluru: The much awaited Common Minimum Programme of the Janata Dal (Secular)-Congress coalition government in the state will be published by June 29.
“The common minimum programme will be finalised by June 29 and it would be published on the same day,” said Common Minimum Programme Drafting Committee Chairman M Veerappa Moily after the meeting at Kumarakrupa Guest House here on June 25.
Moily said that the committee had met twice, so far, to discuss the programmes and the third meeting would be held on June 29.
“All the points in the JDS and Congress manifestos, including farmers’ loan waiver, were discussed in the two meetings. The common programmes in both the manifestos were considered. After the meeting, a report would be submitted to the coalition committee. Highest prominence would be given for farmers’ loan waiver,” the former CM concluded.
