Bengaluru: The deadlock over PU examination answer script evaluation is on rocks as the government remained adamant on implementing its alternative plan to begin the evaluation on Saturday, without budging down to the demands of the protesting PU lecturers, who entered 13th straight day of stir on Friday.
With reportedly 7,500 lecturers giving their consent for evaluation, the government may start its alternative plan on Saturday, said government sources.
As per the department, retired lecturers will be roped in to assist the evaluation work and that the scope of negotiation with the protesting lecturers is rather vague.
However, it is said that the number of lecturers protesting only increased on Friday, which compelled the protesting lecturers to question as to how the government can begin the evaluation.
