Bengaluru: Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya said on Wednesday that the state government has released Rs 100 crore for upgradation and repair of government hostels in the state.

All government hostels will get a facelift as the department has taken up works like painting, upgradation of kitchens, and bathrooms among others.

“The compilation of findings of the recent socio-economic survey is complete and the date of release of findings will be decided after the upcoming BBMP elections”, he said.
