Bengaluru: One of the wishes of the freedom fighter H. S. Doreswamy (103) was body donation. He had donated his body to St. John’s Hospital.

However, on Wednesday May 26 his family members, well-wishers were not able to fulfill this one final wish. As he was Covid – 19 positive, they were not able to donate the body. 

His final rites were held at a crematorium in the city with all the state honours.
