Four held for Ganja smuggling through Mosambis, biryani packet

Bengaluru: The Parappana Agrahara police have arrested four people in separate cases while they were trying to sneak ganja inside the central prison in the last two weeks. The accused had concealed the contraband in sweet lemon and biryani packets.

The police, who had information about ganja being smuggled into the prison, had kept a watch on the movement of suspicious persons. In one such case, Naveen Kumar, 26, and Sanjay, 20, both residents of Bapujinagar off Mysuru Road, were held when they were trying to smuggle the contraband hid inside sweet lemon.

In another operation, Sanju, 21, a resident of Austin Town, was arrested when he was caught smuggling ganja packets hidden in biryani parcel.
