Bengaluru: The police have arrested four men on charges of assaulting and extortion of people at Commercial Street here on Saturday August 21.

Based on the complaint, the police launched a search operation under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. S. D. Sharanappa. The team was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khader.

In all, Rs 1,11000 worth of items and weapons were seized.
