Bengaluru: Janata Dal (S) Supremo and former prime minister and H D Devegowda and his wife Chennamma are currently in a private resort at Kaup, Udupi for panchakarma treatment.

It may be recalled that after election campaigning for Lok Sabha polls, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Devegowda underwent naturopathy and panchakarma treatment in Sai Radha Resort in Muloor near Kaup.

Devegowda and Chennamma will undergo therapy for five days in the resort cum therapy centre.

They will be subjected to natural treatment for limb pain and other ailments.

HDD was accompanied by Dakshina Kannada District JDS Spokesperson Sushil Noronha, Dakshina Kannada District Youth JDS President Akshith Suvarna, Udupi District JDS President Yogish Shetty, leaders Sumathi Hegde, Dhanraj, Rathish, Mohammad Ashif, Hithesh Rai and others.

Devegowda, at 80, is still a role model for the health conscious youth with his dietary and work out regimes in the gym including treadmill run  

After the panchakarma treatment the couple will visit the Shri Krishna Matt in Udupi followed by the Kollur temple for a Chandikayaga.
