Bengaluru: Former Kannada Sahitya Parishat (KSP) president Pundalika Halambi passed away on Sunday morning at a private hospital in Bengaluru.
He was 64 and was ailing from kidney related problems.
He was elected as the 24th president of KSP in 2012.
He was widely known for his organizational skills for the purpose of expanding Kannada cause to greater extent.
He hails from Arakalagudu taluk of Hassan district. He studied Kannada honour from Bangalore University.
His body will be placed at his Jayangar residence. Final rites will take place at Chamrajapet crematorium by 5.30. Pm.
Several personalities across the literary and political lines have condoled the demise of the veteran.
