Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy is all set to celebrate his 60th birthday in a resort in Goa. Only his close friends are attending this celebration.

A senior JDS leader informed that as doctors advised HDK to stay away from any public events, he decided against celebrating his birthday in Bengaluru as it may turn out to be a big event.

HDK is under medical rest for two weeks following blood infection.

“HDK is likely to return to Bengaluru on Saturday and start works related to party organisation. He is likely to meet disgruntled party leaders to strengthen the party from the base,” he explained.
