Bangalore : The central government is insulting the constitution by forcibly obtaining the resignations of governors appointed under UPA Govt, said former union minister Veerappa Moily.
Speaking to the reporters he said that it is not important, during whose term governors were appointed. It is a post confined to the constitution. So it is our duty to respect it. Whovever may be the person, the post of governor has its own value.
Central govt has crossed these limits and is attempting to forcefully take these resignations, he said.
