First underground metro train suffers backlash

Bengaluru: Celebrated as south India’s first underground metro railway track which is just more than a week old, suffered a backlash on Friday night and it was forced to stop due to technical reasons.

The train bound towards Baiyappanahalli from Nayandahalli was forced to stop at Cubbon park station at 7.34 pm due to technical problems.

According to BMRCL sources, the train was stopped as a precautionary measure, due to multiple reasons. But, BMRCL has not given the real reason behind the incident.

There were about 150 commuters when the incident occurred.

The alternative arrangement was made within 15 minutes in order to tackle the inconvenience caused for the passengers.
