Fire mishap at minister KS Eshwarappa’s official residence

Bengaluru: Fire broke out at the official residence of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister KS Eshwarappa located at the Shivananda circle, on Monday night. No one was injured. The Minister was at home when the incident happened.

According to the fire and emergency services department officials, a short circuit may be the reason for the fire mishap.

According to the sources, a fire broke out when minister Eshwarappa switched on the AC in his bedroom. The entire room was gutted in a matter of a few minutes.

Minister’s PA alerted the fire department, who rushed to the spot immediately and doused off the fire. Only Eshwarappa and his wife were at the home when the incident occurred.
