Bangalore: The makers of Finding Fanny the much awaited film that starts Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, Naseerudin Shah among others have uploaded behind-the-scenes videos from the making of Finding Fanny such as the making of the song Fanny Re. Most of the videos are funny and have shown the actors playing their characters to the hilt.

However the makers have accidentally forgotten, or chosen to ignore a small a small three-second scene that has now caused a furore in Bangalore with most pro-Kannada organizations taking to the streets to protest.
The scene from Making of Finding Fanny — Five Oddballs shows Arjun Kapoor getting out of a blue car parked in front of a bus stop that reads Chamundinagara Bus Nildana (Chamundinagara Bus Stop). He then proceeds to throw his hands up in the air and with his eyes skyward shouts, “A bloody mental state.” He then bangs his fist on the bonnet of the car.
Pro-Kannada organizations took to the streets on Saturday to protest against the scene demanding that the makers delete it. They are apprehensive that people will read between the lines and believe that Arjun Kapoor is referring to Karnataka as a mental state and will get agitated.
The protest was led by the Vatal Paksha and the Akila Karnataka Dr Rajkumar Abhimanigala Sangha. Their stand is supported by Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, and Dalita Sangarsha Samiti among others. They have demanded that the objectionable scene be deleted from the film and the film makers apologize.
They are demanding that they remove the scene not only from the movie but also from promotional videos such as the Making videos. It is learnt that they have informed the Commissioner of Police and have given him a copy of the video.
