Bengaluru: The Finance department has approved a proposal to recruit 400 principals for government first-grade colleges and 1,600 assistant professors.
Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwath Narayan, who is also the state’s higher education minister, made an announcement in this regard.
He stated that the recruitment will be done without interviews to ensure that there won’t be any corruption.
“The finance department approved the proposals sent by the higher education department on fresh recruitments. It will be done in a transparent way,” he said.
He also stated that soon, all state universities will be brought under a unified university management system to ensure timely examinations, results and other activities.
