Dabaspet: A family which had visited the mosque situated on Siddara Betta in Tumakuru district, met a watery grave in the ‘Kalyani’ (pond) here on Saturday, April 27.

The deceased are residents of Kengeri in Bengaluru, Muneer Khan (49), Resham (22), Mubina Taj (21) and Yarab Khan (21).

All the four belonging to one family, had reportedly stepped into the pond to swim despite not knowing how to.

The Dabaspet police along with firefighters rushed to the spot and fished the bodies out of the pond.
