Bangalore: The son of a former DCP has committed suicide by shooting himself on Monday June 9.

The deceased has been identified as Raghavendra, son of retired DCP Ramaiah.

According to the sources, Raghavendra shot himself at Tarabula road near RT Nagar. The reason behind his extreme step is not known.

A case has been registered at RT Nagar Police station. Investigations are underway.
