Bengaluru: It looks like Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly and former chief minister Siddaramaiah will finally have to vacate the Cauvery bungalow after having lived there for over six years. He has, according to a report by ANI, been allotted a new house by the Karnataka government.

According to a report by ANI, a Government of Karnataka notification, issued on Friday, October 25, states that Siddaramaiah has been allotted a house at number 2 Race View Cottage on Race Course Road in the state capital.

The Cauvery bungalow is an official residence reserved for the Chief Minister of the state. Siddaramaiah has been residing in the bungalow ever since he first took office in the year 2013 and hasn’t yet vacated, even though there have been two other CMs after him.
