Bengaluru: Even after 20 days, the judicial probe into the DySp Ganapati suicide case is yet to begin. The State government had appointed Justice Keshavanarayana to head the Judicial Inquiry Committee.

According to sources, as the government has not provided the committee an office space to function, the inquiry is being delayed. “We have written to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) on July 20 requesting it to make arrangements at Balabrooie Guest House without rent, provide a vehicle, driver and support staff for the committee. But so far, DPAR has not acted on it,” confirmed a source from the Law Department.
The Stet governmnet had constituted the Justice Keshavanarayana led panel on July 16 to inquire the DySP Ganapthi suicide case after the opposition members demanded a CBI probe.
