According to sources, CID is all set to file a ‘B’ summary report. The report may say that the allegations from Ganapathi were false.

All the investigations from the officers have proved futile as no evidence could be gathered to prove that former minister, K J George, and IPS officers, A M Prasad and Pronab Moahanty had harassed Ganapathi which led to his suicide. The fact that their involvement in anything to do with Ganapathi was nil is proved as the trio was never in direct contact with the deceased officer.

It may be recalled that DySP M K Ganapthi, in an interview to a news channel hours before his death blamed the trio, minister KJ George, Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence A.M. Prasad and Lokayukta (Ombudsman) inspector general of police Pronab Mohanty forseeing danger to his life. George later resigned from his post after being under fire from all quarters for his alleged involvement.
