Bengaluru: The High Court of Karnataka, on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of Kannada actors Ragini Dwivedi, and Sanjjanaa Galrani and other co-accused in the drug scandal.
A single bench of Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar dismissed the petitions and stated that the detailed order will be made available soon.
The actors along with others have been charged under various sections of IPC including 120b (criminal conspiracy) and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985 under sections 21, 21C, 27A, 27B, and section 29.
Ragini was arrested on September 14 while Sanjjana was arrested on September 16.
The special court had on September 28, rejected their application.
The high court after hearing the applicants and the prosecution in detail had on October 25 reserved its order.
