Bengaluru: Minister for Medical Education, who is also in-charge for all matters connected COVID-19 in the state has come under fire from KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar for posting a picture of himself having some gala time in a swimming pool.

Taking exception to the same, DKShi said that this was not acceptable and that the Minister should immediately resign from his post.

Putting up an image, Dr Sudhakar had written that he had joined his kids for swimming after a very long time and that he hopes to maintain social distance even in the pool.

Reacting to the post, DKShi tweeted: “When the whole world is going through a health crisis, the Corona in-charge Minister Dr. Sudhakar is behaving irresponsibly by spending time in a swimming pool. It’s a matter of moral & ethical standards. He must resign out of his own accord & CM should sack him from the cabinet .”
