Bengaluru: RSS Leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is likely to land in trouble after the Criminal investigation department (CID) found substantial evidences to connect Shyamaprasad Shastri’s suicide case to the RSS head honcho.

It may be recalled that Shyamaprasad Shastri is the brother in-law of Premalatha Shastri, the Ram Katha singer who had filed a rape case against Sri Raghaveshwara Swamiji.

Shyamaprasad, a resident of Bedakkila village of Puttur shot himself to death on September 2014, after Premalatha filed a case alleging sexual abuse.

It was then believed that Shyamaprasad had killed himself because there was immense pressure from various quarters supporting the Swamiji to turn hostile towards the Shastris. Dr Bhat’s name had cropped up even then and there were allegations that he had threatened Shastri over a phone conversation to side with the Swamiji and it was believed that was the last phone call the Shyamprasad attended.

The CID police collected the details of the call made by Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat before this suicide and sleuths claim that the forensic laboratory has confirmed that the voice contained in the above call was that of Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. With this, Dr Bhat may face action from the CID sleuths.
