Bengaluru: An education department officer is in the dock after allegedly uploading over 100 sexually explicit pictures in the office WhatsApp group.

According to sources in the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), an officer from Bengaluru South Block had formed an office WhatsApp group for official communication and on Friday night, he uploaded sex pictures and videos.

”Immediately, the women members, including teachers exited the group and others took screenshots and sent to the senior officers,” said a teacher.

According to the sources in the DPI, an investigation will be launched soon over the incident. No police complaint has been registered.
