Bengaluru: A day after JDS state unit president H Vishwanath stated that the coordination committee, led by Siddaramaiah, is not a coordination committee but a “Siddaramaiah committee”, revenue minister R V Deshpande stated that he doesn’t know why he is making such statements.

“I don’t know what happened to him,” he said.

“Let him make his thoughts to the JDS state leaders. He must speak according to his position. Such statements will not serve any purpose,” he said.

“I am the senior most leader in the party but I follow a number of rules in the interest of the party,” he added.

Downplaying the Lok Sabha election exit polls, he stated that if they are true, there is no need of counting the votes at all.
