Bengaluru: A team of Bengaluru doctors helped a three-year-old girl from Dubai regain her vision after she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, a rare form of blood and bone marrow cancer (ALL).
A treatment plan comprising a bone marrow transplant surgery was drawn out, keeping in mind the patient’s age and the complications of her condition.
The three-year-old girl has been reported to be fully cancer-free and has regained sight in both eyes two months after treatment.
