Bengaluru: Congress leader and former minister D K Shivakumar rubbished the death note allegedly written by V G Siddhartha to the Cafe Coffee Day Board of Directors, calling it “fishy”.
Taking to Twitter, DKShi claimed that the missing business tycoon called him on Sunday, July 28. Siddhartha, he claims, asked if they could meet.
“The letter purportedly written by Shri VG Siddhartha which is circulating is dated July 27th. I received a call from him on the 28th asking if we could meet up. It’s unbelievable that a courageous man like him would resort to this,(sic)” the former minister said in a tweet.
“However, I find this utterly fishy and urge that a thorough Investigation be conducted into this matter. Shri Siddhartha and his family were closely known to me for decades now,(sic)” he added in the Twitter thread.
