DKShi in B’luru today; Procession planned from airport to KPCC office

Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader D K Shivakumar, who has spent 39 days in Tihar jail after his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), will return to the state on Saturday, October 26 afternoon. NSUI, the student wing of the Congress party, has made elaborate arrangements to receive him.

According to the NSUI authorities, the cadres will receive him at the Kempegowda International Airport and take him in a rally to the KPCC office on Queen’s Road. “A bike rally and a vehicle rally have been planned. D K Shivakumar will be received by senior leaders of the party at the KPCC office, where he will address a press meet,” informed NSUI leaders.

Traffic chaos expected

Traffic police have informed that it is better to avoid the Devanahalli Road and Queen’s Road to avoid getting stuck in a traffic jam, as over 1,000 vehicles are expected to take part in the rally.
