Bengaluru: Soon after the Padarayanapura violence and Congress MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan questioning the action of the Corona Warriors, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has questioned Khan if he had a role to play in the violence.

It may be recalled that Padarayanapura turned tense on Sunday late night after the Corona Warriors tried to quarantine scores of secondary contacts of COVID-19 patients living in the area.

After the episode, Khan questioned as to why the Corona Warriors had to visit the area in the night and why the operation was not carried out in the day.

Attacking Khan for this statement CM shot back and questioned, Who is Zameer Ahmed Khan and why should government seek his permission to do its job.

“Instead of saying that action must be taken against the guilty, he is speaking like this. Should we then assume that he incited the violence? How can he be so irresponsible,” the CM questioned.

Khan, who represents Chamrajpet constituency, where Padarayanapura falls, in a series of tweet has clarified his stand and stated that he has been misinterpreted.
