Bangalore: It has been reliably gathered that the  Congress high command has received intelligent reports that there was a possibility of the party losing six to eight Lok Sabha constituencies in the state  owing to the denial of the Deputy Chief Minister’s  post to KPCC Chief Dr G Parameshwar. The opinion is that Parameshwar should be given a chance  to avert any such development.

The intelligence report states that the  high command’s failure to offer the Deputy CM chair to Parameshwar even after nine months after the Congress rose to power in the state, will prove detrimental to the party in the LS polls. The reports also said that the Dalit Community was  angered over this development.

It is learnt, the report also strongly felt that  offering the position to Parameshwar before the elections instead of  after the elections, would be beneficial for the party.
