Bengaluru: The RSS was held responsible for the killing of journalist Gauri Lankesh by several people including Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Communist leader Seetharaman Yechury.

Following this, the RSS has now slammed defamation cases against the three.

RSS member and advocate Dhrithiman Joshi has filed the case with the Kurla Magistrate Court stating that the three jumped into conclusion that the right wing outfits were behind the murder of the journalist, without giving out any evidence for the same. The accusation has dented the image of the RSS and various other right wing organisations, the petition claimed.

Joshi said that the right wing outfits are being looked at as murderers because of such irresponsible statements of political figures.
