Bengaluru: DCM Govind M Karjol has replaced CM BS Yediyurappa as the head of the state Covid-19 task force.

According to a decision taken by the state government, health minister Dr K Sudhakar, education minister S Suresh Kumar and minister for mines CC Patil will be the members of this revamped Covid 19 task force.

This task force will take all important decisions related to Covid-19 management in the state including vaccination drive.

Meanwhile, the state government has decided to gear up for the second wave of Covid-19 in the state in January/ February. The government decided to step up testing and hospital bed facility to face any situation.
