Mysuru: District Commissioner of Mysuru C Shikha has confirmed the reports of the death of the soldier from HD Kote who was one among the missing soldiers in the Siachen tragedy.
She visited the family members and consoled them today, February 9.

She promised to bring the mortal remains of the soldier back home at the earliest. She also assured all the necessary government facilities to the brave soldier’s family.

It may be recalled that six days ago 11 soldiers at Siachen went missing after they were buried under an avalanche. One of the soldiers who belongs to Karnataka was found to be  alive yesterday and is currently battling for life.
