Davangere: Prime Minister will be at Davangere today as part of the nationwide celebrations to mark the completion of two years in office of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. He will inaugurate the Ujwal scheme of the Ministry of Power in the evening.

The state BJP unit is planning to launch a 15-day campaign in the State to highlight the achievements of the Central government at the rally to be held at the High School grounds in PB extension.
 
Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises G?M?Siddeshwara, who represents Davangere in the Lok Sabha said that arrangements were made for around 1.5 lakh people to witness the rally. Three helipads have been set up for Modi’s helicopter to land. The rally is scheduled to begin at 4 pm and only 11 leaders will share the dais with Modi.

From Monday, the state BJP unit will begin their door-to-door campaign to highlight the achievements of the NDA-led government to the people.
